Doucement A concept: a pregnancy companion, in French.
A concept from my 2024 research, a redesign exercise on a French pregnancy app. I kept its core (the week, how you feel, one symptom explained) and changed the rhythm: a letter from a midwife every Sunday, and ten seconds a day about you, where nothing today is an answer too.

iThe idea
Doucement is French for gently. The week, how far along you are and your next appointment; no fruit sizes, no foetus images.
iiSix screens
The week, how you feel today, one symptom explained and reviewed by a midwife, the Sunday letter, ten seconds a day, and the letters as a book you can pause at any time.
iiiThe system
Fraunces with its soft axis for everything that speaks, DM Sans for the rest, cream paper and terracotta, and the name in a lowercase italic.
A concept. No real people appear.
